Wrapping up their unit on community helpers kindergartner's had special visitors from Mobile Medical Response (MMR). Paramedics came to SPA and shared with students how they help in the community. Student even got to tour the MMR vehicle.
Kindergarteners are continuing to study community helpers. This week they learned how fire fighters help in their community. Buena Vista fire fighters made a special visit to Saginaw Prep to speak with students about fire safety and their role in the community.
Kindergarten students have been learning about community helpers and how they help their community everyday. Pictured below is Officer Norris from the Buena Vista police department. Officer Norris came into the classroom and spoke to the students about her role in the community.
Classes celebrated reading month by decorating their classroom doors. Students came up with book themed ideas and created amazing door designs. Pictured are a few of the classroom doors.
The Buena Vista Community Center will be hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 31st. The festivities begin at 1:30 p.m. at Lion's Park. Please see attached flier for more information.
Spring tutoring program begins Monday, March 12, 2018. Any students in 3rd-8th grade are welcome to participate.
If you are planning to stay make sure you turn in your tutoring slip to your teacher.
Tutoring will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays from
3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Several students from Saginaw Preparatory Academy had the opportunity to go to Saginaw Valley State University and participate in math and science activities. Students also toured campus and enjoyed lunch at The Marketplace.
