Fifth graders enjoyed a day outdoors at Hartley Nature Center. With an emphasis on environmental education students walked away with ideas on supporting a healthy environment.

SPA staff dressed up for the students for our 3rd annual Halloween costume contest. Students enjoyed the festivities. Below are some of the staff in their costumes. 1st place went to Ms. Romeo who dressed up as Poppy from the movie Tolls.
Preschool and kindergarten students enjoyed the day at Johnson's Pumpkin Farm. Students explored the farm and saw many different animals. Students also found their way through a soybean maze, and got to enjoy a doughnut and juice at the end of the day.
Students will be selling an assortment of candy, cookie dough candles and even wrapping paper for Saginaw Prep's fall fundraiser. Students will be taking orders until October 27, 2017. All purchases will be in by mid December just in time for the holidays. Don't miss out on these great products!
We are looking forward to seeing parents for our first quarter parent/teacher conference. Conferences will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm.
October 6th will also be a half day of school for students. Classes will dismiss at 12:00 pm.
Pictured below are Saginaw Preparatory Academy's Preschool and Kindergarten classes at Leaman's Apple Farm in Freeland, MI. Students enjoyed a day filled with all things apple. While there students learned the process of growing apples. They saw how apple cider is made. Students also enjoyed a hayride.
During health class our 6th graders are learning about nutrition and healthy snack choices. Pictured below is one of Saginaw Prep's 6th grade classes and their first batch of all natural granola.
