The 6th Annual Douglas Walters Science Fair was held at Saginaw Prep on Friday, May 26th. Students worked hard on their experiments and were excited to present them to the school as well as the judges. Pictured are a few of the experiments that classes worked on as well as the individual experiments.
Pictured below are 4th graders attending a field study to Birch Run Wilderness Trails Zoo where students saw over 50 species of exotic and native animals. Students also went to the Frankenmuth Fudge Kitchen there students learned a few fun fudge facts and saw first hand how fudge is made.
During science 3rd graders are learning about how the moon looks a little different each night during its one-month orbit of our planet. Pictured below is Mrs. Bates class using cookies to illustrate the phases of the moon.
